St. Augustine’s in-the-Woods, 5217 S Honeymoon Bay Rd, Freeland —
Charles LaFond, senior development director for Island Senior Resources, will preach at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services at St. Augustine’s-in-the-Woods Episcopal Church and will discuss senior care at the adult forum between the two services. He will be joined by Katheryn Howell, director of programs at Island Senior Resources. LaFond is a retired Episcopal priest, full-time fundraiser for 38 years, author of books on fundraising and spiritual life, and master potter of 42 years. He is an active public speaker, retreat leader, conflict manager, and novelist, and lives on Whidbey Island with his dog Sugar. All are welcome.
