Artifishal is a documentary about people, rivers, and the fight for the future of wild fish and the environment that supports them. It explores wild salmon’s slide toward extinction, threats posed by fish hatcheries and fish farms, and our continued loss of faith in nature. The Whidbey Island Fishing Club is sponsoring this special one-time showing. The concept behind the film is to educate the public, and decision-makers, about the money that has been wasted on failed plans and to look to science-based solutions to save endangered wild salmon and orcas. There will be a panel of experts to answer questions from the audience following the showing of the film.
