Cary Loopuyt Jurriaans is a classically trained oil painter whose work is inspired by her Dutch heritage. In her current show, Jurriaans focuses on still life paintings that follow the tradition of 17th and 18th century Dutch painters. Also included in the month’s exhibit are fine sculptures in bronze, stone, wood and steel, and some extraordinary fine art glass including hand-blown, sculpted and fused glass. You’ll also find finely crafted handmade jewelry, wood work, ceramics and fiber art, witty assemblages and a wide array of other beautiful art objects sure to bring delight.
