The Star Studio at Whidbey Playhouse, Oak Harbor —-
Opening April 1 and on stage through April 16 is 90 minutes of hilarious/serious theater, a love of Pandashrews, undying giddiness for James Madison and the Miss America Pageant. A pageant contestant
kidnaps a liberal activist blogger and a conservative senator’s aide in order to get them to help her rewrite the U.S. Constitution (which will be her talent performance in the pageant). Got that? Skewering liberals
and conservatives alike, “The Taming” hits political partisanship in the funny bone!
CAST: Three women – A Republican Senator’s aid, a liberal blogger and a Miss America contestant from Georgia.
