New Year’s Polar Bear Plunge

Some things are just done without reason, and well, here’s exhibit “A” – the Polar Bear Plunge. This “charge” into the new year takes place mid-day at Freeland’s Double Bluff Beach.

Well-wishers, family, friends, and total strangers will have a great time marveling at the display of mind over matter.

Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with the splash at noon.

It’s $15 to take the plunge, and free to watch.
