Outcast Productions: “Annoyance”

March 29, 2018 @ 7:30 pm

Island County Fairgrounds, Langley  —

Outcast Productions begins its 8th season with Annoyance, a comedy by Sam Brobick, which opens March 16 and plays for three weekends at the Outcast Theater at the Island County Fairgrounds. The show is directed by Sandy K. O’Brien.

Everyone experiences annoying people in their lives. This is the feeling you get when someone makes you feel angry or impatient (of course, you can also be annoying to someone else). In this comedy, a very annoying man goes to see two therapists with the hope of becoming less annoying; he ends up driving them both over the edge. First, he goes to see a woman therapist; and drives her crazy. Then, he goes to see her husband, who is also a therapist, and drives him batty. In the third scene, he goes to see both therapists who decide to take drastic measures to rid the world of this obnoxious man.

Of course it doesn’t go as planned.

Tickets are $18 for adults; $14for students and seniors, and a special $12performance on March 29. Order online fromwww.brownpapertickets.com/event/3346537,or email Outcast Productions at ocp@whidbey.com to reserve tickets and pay at the door by cash or check.
