The Aerialists: One Tough Way to Make a Living

Steve and Martha Ellis from the Whidbey Island Audubon Society, present the daunting challenges of the avian aerialists.
Of the 232 species on Whidbey Audubon’s checklist, less than 10 percent feed almost exclusively on flying prey. These
are the aerialists: swallows, swifts, nighthawks, flycatchers, accipiters and falcons. Please register online, this event will not
