Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge, Coupeville —
The Whidbey Island Nordic Lodge, located at 63 Jacobs Rd, will be having a Veterans Appreciation Night. The canteen will open at 5:30pm and will be serving chili, corn bread and a dessert. This event is open to the public and will be free to both active duty military and veterans, a $5.00 donation is requested from all others. The meal will be followed by a program of tribute to our military veterans which will include a talk by former base commander Mike Nortier.
