Fort Casey State Park, Coupeville —
Discover early spring birds with Janet Hall of the Whidbey Audubon Society. Meet at 9:00AM at the Fort Casey State Park lighthouse parking lot. Drive up the road into the park (1280 Engle Road, Coupeville) and take a right by the fl agpole (do not go down the hill to the fort) and drive to the end of the road to the lighthouse parking lot. Vehicles will need a Discover Pass. Bring binoculars and bring a scope if you have one to explore the habitat near the lighthouse, then the group will head up the trail (short but steep) through the forest to the picnic area. If there is time, they will drive to the ferry parking lot and check out what birds are hanging out.
