Oak Harbor High School Auditorium/SUB —
The choir is from Uganda and is made up of orphans from the Watoto Orphanages in Kampala and Gulu Uganda. There will be lively singing and dancing. Watoto is the Ugandan organization that has answered the call to care for the children by giving them food, shelter, education, health care, and a family.
Come hear the joy in their hearts which has overcome the tragedy and hardship in their lives before they were with Watoto. Concert is free with free will offering. Choir CDs and craft items from Watoto workshops will be available for purchase as well as information and opportunities to sponsor children. The concert is sponsored by Oak Harbor Lutheran Church Watoto Mission Team which has been traveling to help in Watoto programs since 2008. The team has raised funds to build a house and medical clinic in the villages and holds medical clinics during their yearly visit. Their next visit is in Jan. 2020.
