WICA Youth Conservatory: Acting for Stage and Screen Summer Program

Calling young Thespians! Instructor David Churchill is again offering a comprehensive acting program for youth between the ages of 13−20.

This six-day immersion will cover:

• voice work
• classical (including Shakespeare) and contemporary styles
• scene analysis
• theatre games
• partnered scene work for both stage and film

The final day of the workshop will include presentations of both the theatre and filmed scenes. The workshop’s emphasis will be on the actor’s ability to create authenticity through imagination and connection.

The cost is $350 with some scholarships available. The class will run from July 24−29 from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM daily.
